Solar charging

Day 5 and 6 were poor days,,but we charged some, were now at 1250 mark
We mounted the new Morningstar monitor inside and ran the cable ,,I love it they sent 100Ft. RJ11 cable ,,so it's down to rat shack for 25 Ft even then I still had some leftover
The hardest part was the temp probe I did not leave much room in the tube line
I think I over kill this job but I do that most times anyway
as you can see the readings are the output so it,s slow but getting there non the less

Sheri's learning to post with photos this is a test

I made it this far, now for the photo

This learning to hang around right

well we have a snag here but snags now fixed

well it seems we have a power snag at this end
the TRISTAR 45 has somthing not working in the switch over RATS
we have battery power in  solar power in but no power back to the batterys to charge them
the solar panel shows 35V thats good
now   we dumped the batt, s down to 11.5V  this should trip the 45 to start the charging cycle,
so were doing good here to the 45
but no zip comeing out to the batt,s
all i can say is ??????????????????????????????????????????????????
so now it,s in the good hands of Infinigi .com and MorningStar corp,
so now were on HOLD
note
yes there are now 2 wires to the fuse block (photo was taken before wire no, 2 was added
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
WE HAVE POWER   WOO   HO
well it was in the wires comeing out of the solar panel side  on the plug ins there marked + /--                 now the wire i used have the same markings but if you plug the + onto the scocket it only fits the -- plug therefor was the snag       how did we fix it
t
well forget the markings and use only the +  out of the panel to the TRISTAR  and the --  from the panel to the TRISTAR
after calling the 2 party,s  ( it,s my fault guys ) and with my head in my ass   were now getting about13.3V = 5,3 amp,s   at 4PM  with the hydro-meter  (1175)  even at 13V the batt,s have a long way to go
DAY 1 OVERCAST

DAY 2 FULL SUN
An now as of last night the  hydro-meter is now sitting in the white ban but still some more to go to get to 1275 to make me happy
DAY 4  SUNNY
my tristar remote is slatted to be here today so the readings will come from that
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Well after 7 days we are at a full charge1275 , I did change the setting to 14.8v but I will turn it down to 14.6 sometime today and see how that settles in
Now I'm thinking hot to and ware to put the inverter I'm thinking about a deadman switch not the best but ,still thinking

solar done bike rack done

lets see if you can guess what this is (on the bottom)
you wake me one more time
we don,t use the TV and there better setups out there
i switched to a digital recever thats mounted in the closet and works fine for us

now i have lots of room to mount the solar panel with a flat bracket
the solar cable runs down in side the wall to and old battery box that was switch over
we could not fit 2- 6Vbatterys in here so now its switch over to this i have room to add an inverter next

the bracket runs from side to side bolted so if any changes need to be made no welds to cut

nice and clean not a thing blocking the panel. plus we have room to add more but at 225W i think were fine
and removeing the TV ant, setup was a big help
this panel was setup not to tilt but if we need to i can add 2 cross brackets to do that

as for the back storage and bike rack

now the bumper was  rusted on the bottom so it was a no brainer to cut it off and start new, which I was going to do anyway, for outside storage, and a bike rack to boot

                                                         we made the frame 24 x 70PS
                                                                                                      i love my superduper table
the square tube you see is a 5inch fence PVC post cut to fit for the sewer hose i have room to store that and all the fittings inside
the door on the right has no use it,s under the sink and we can get to it that way
the box  is a lite Alum,  army shipping contaner i will be using 2 for this setup
well now your near the end     remember the first photo
                                                                         no not the dog
as paul harvey would say          now for the rest of the story
when i went to a flea market i spotted this for 8 bucks,  it was a computer table top moniter stand

not any more my BBQ grill from my way way back when boating days now has a new lease on life
Ya raw meat       this is the good life
                                                               the only way to fly
