Ok lets get HIGH and reach for the star,s

                     AS  you see the trailers not level to the truck  so it,s time to do something about it
                   there was not much gain when i went up in tire size about 3/4in  it still needs to go up

 even when i picked it up the first day this was somthing i need to address sometime down the line

                             now after taking all that time to setup the 2 new axles with spring under
                                                               well lets say i goofed up , so now to make it right
                                                                               It time to Flip It

                                        now to start off with the kit to flip 1 axle cost 65$ pr axle
                                   now theres no way this Old boys paying 130$ +plus tax+shipping
                        thanks to old Cape Cod New England Enginuity Engineering ( plus the Internet)
                        this is how we did it,  did i tell you i like to steal stuff from the internet                                                                                  Well    Well lets say its called Improvising Engineering  to work for you ( me)  
                      well the carrier were 4.50 each x4 = 18.00$   bolts 8 and  long nut 8 =8$  =26$
                                  now can you see were im going with this
                                       O and yes i do have a welder   setup and welding   time 45 mins
                                             dam i love it when a plan works out my way

                                  now after the flipping was done  this is how it cane out  SWEET
        now on the outher side we had wires to deal with so it was drop the axle take the spring off put it on top and button it back on peace -O- cake

 as you see the bolt is welded to thr carrer  however the long nut is used to addjust that  carrer to sit true with the old carrer  pretty slick A
the carriers were welded to the axle  even so it was not needed welding was only a stop gap backup

                                   now as you can see we came out a lot higher
                                                                time to do this job 3hr,s with 2 coffee breaks

now in the back we went from 20 in to 24,4  = + 4.4

                                     and the front went from 25.5  to 30    = +4.5

                                           so our gain was 4.5 to  5.4
                                      plus add 4.5in to our step up to get in the trailer as well

well part of the test is done today
seting the trailer up so its level we have a pin  to ground of 50in
now the truck pinbox to ground 50in
i think if and when we mate it up  we may drop 2in i can live with that

75% crap is crap

Well the gage is full of crap on its reading, what I did was stick the black tank after 4 days 3in,
The tank is 13 in, tall so the math comes out to about 16 day hooray that makes me happy as shit it dose
Now the water part needs a lot of tweaking to get my 10 day goal , like washing out side and a 35 gal, buddy tank in the truck and reading up on bloggers ways to save water tricks
Tomoka state park was GREAT
it feels like your in a forest all around you trees and more trees
The bathrooms and showers were super clean the park staff were great and help full as well the only bad side was it was DARK real DARK all you could see were stars all over the place and no SOUNDS well ok birds fire- flys butterfly's an geckos, yes squirrels lots of squirrels
I don't know how one can take that lack of stress in 4 days at onetime
Would I do it agin ,,,,,, in a heart beat,,,,,,,
All in all it was a learning trip and fun, most of all, a good test as to setting up the trailer now stress out and go back to work muttering

75% crap on the gage

Well that's were we are at this point in time 75% full ,on the gage BUT I really think we're way off on this gage thing, I'm not sure that I can trust the monitor panel now sticking the tank I'm at about 3in,s up after 4 days with 24 hrs to I think the only way to test this is to clean the tank dump it and fill it by hand with 5 gal bucket till full that's a true gage, I'm looking to get about 10 days out of this tank ! That would make me real happy
And as for the water , thats even worse were on our second tank (the tank is about 35/40 gals )In 4 days that's not good as well
Now this tank I can see and watch its usage pr, day I need a lot of creative ways to get the MAX out of this setup ,, maybe thinking about setting up an outside sink and buddy tanks
And as well as more creative ways to stretch the water to 10 days as well
Food wise that's fine
The hard part for me is finding stuff to putter on, or I get bored real fast, you can only take the dogs for a walk jest so many time

how im setup the solar panel is flat down on the roof  

the solar panel wires out and to the controller are the same size for

 10ft to the Tristar 45 controller ( with fuse 40a and on-off switch )

now from the controller the plus and minus cables to the battery,s, it,s #2 welding cable( also with an on-off switch)

dip switch setting are  1off  2off  3off  4off  5off  6on  7on  8on   ( see test *****)

this test was run to see if the controller would go from bulk to float and about what time

and also to test the dip switch settings

the 5er has 11 =12v and 4 LED,s    1141 bulbs inside   and 3 of the same outside. im switching over to all  LED,s soon

the load was 4 = 12v lights on at night ,at about 4 hr,s the 300w inverter was running all day(turned on)

but no TV or VCR were in use 

at the days end the 2  6v  batteries seem to set a12.6v and hold  that all night   even with the test load 

this is i know not a fair test but a small test nontheless  

the true test is the time the float kicks in 

even so im useing a high output solar panel 225w / ocv 36v / mpc 7.6amp  and a tristar 45 (PWM)

so far we ain.t fried anything yet

now after reading the tristar remote meter i think i need a rocket scientist ( or a 15 year old kid) to tell me how to read and use it
