Our lake has a lot of soft shell turtles
From the lake There's a 30 foot buffer of grass and a chain-link fence with tall grass in the woods on the other side of our park they like to go on the other side of the fence and lay their eggs and then return back to the water
sometimes they can't get under the fence so we prop it up so that they can make it easier for tham to get back
The thing that I never realize is that when you catch them there a delicacy to eat and some wholesalers ship them live all the way to Japan
Well I know 2 ugly suckers that have a full-time vacation job in our lake
